Simple Christmas for Soldiers

Photo Details
Poster: atsamom

We are making 100 Christmas cards for soldier gift boxes. I based my card on this card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1528563, but simplified in some ways. A little less cutting, different trees, different colors on the trees so I can have three people stamping trees, "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays" to hopefully apply to most of the soldiers.

I couldn't find a good inside Christmas sentiment that applied to a soldier in combat, so ended up using the wonderful stamp from SU's Service & Sacrifice, "As you bravely watch over us, may God watch over you."

We are also doing blank greeting cards for each box for the soldiers to send back. I'll be putting these together and up to the gallery in the next few days.

This is just inspiring. Why *not* just use green on a Christmas card?? I love green!
