WRM - Verve November Sketch #3

 | | Here is my card for this week's Verve Sketch With A Twist. The twist was to make a Fall/Winter holiday card. Now anyone that has been doing these for a while is a bit concerned because the last time Amber gave us an easy Twist the next week's was a doozie!! She has promised that it won't be more than she knows we can handle LOL! We'll have to see what she comes up with this Friday!
When I saw the sketch I immediately thought of my Martha Stewart snowflake Punch and my Marvy Scalloped Square Punch. I matted the scalloped squares with Chocolate Chip for contrast and then added some clear crystal brads in the center of the snowflakes for a bit of dimension. The chocolate ribon tied in nicely and the scalloped bottom matched the squares. The sentiment was all lonesome at the top and kind of got lost so I added a line of bling under it to bring it more attention.
Sorry the chocolate under the snowflakes looks almost black -- we had a doozie of a wind/rain storm here yesterday and today so there wasnt' a lot of light.
More chit chat on my blog Rosemary Reflections if you're interested.
Thanks for taking a peek and have a great day :D |
