This is for Carole's Renaissance Emergence VSN challenge. I must admit I'm a embossing newbie, so I had two fails, but I love how this one finally turned out!
I stamped a snowflake using 2nd generation Not Quite Navy for the background, then stamped the medallion over it. I don't have a brayer, so I just used a cat's eye ink pad to cover it with silver (and yes, I did look like the tin man afterwards). I added a silver ribbon layered with cream to cover the scorch marks on the paper. ;)
Great challenge! This was such a stunning effect, I know I'll be trying it again!

Very cool looking Meg (you are sure rockin' that medallion stamp! I need to order one for myself). I like how made the medallion look like a snowflake.
