Well you all know the sad, sad story of Dusty the Teddy Bear.
It’s a mighty sad story of love lost and despair
BUT Now there’s a new gal in town and Dusty’s all grown up SO BEWARE!
Bertie found Dusty all alone in an old attic
Now that’s an old history – just static!
Together they have fixed all the wrongs
and now they’re singin’ some new old songs.
Dusty greeted Bertie with some love songs: Some girls like bears like me and some girls don’t, and
Girl you’ve never known on bear like me
Up there in your high society (you know – the tea parties)
They might tell you I’m no good
Girl they need to understand
Just who I am
I may be real bad toy, but baby I’m a real good bear.
Bertie responded with song too! Mothermark he’s crazy – crazy over me and in my arms is where he says he always wants to be!
Daphne showed up singin’

Would you tell me that you loved me too and would we cry together?
Or would you simply laugh at me and say:

Dusty responded with: You’ve been too gone for too long it’s too late to come back now

Now with attic dust in their har (that’s hair to you non-country folk)
And stuffin’ comin’ out here and thar
They are riding off to Michigan singin’
