Hi! I made this card for the today's TLC: paper towel flowers.
When I began this morning, I oversaturated my paper towel, and had to wait until it dried before any kind of adhesive would stick! But while it was wet, it was super simple to tear the edges! I added some coppery looking pearls and beads to the center. When I had finished putting the flower together, I was immediately struck by its soft, glimmery, aged look. So I knew that I would pair it with a soft and aged looking image. I chose an angel from SU!'s Christmas montage set from a few years back. I just love this angel! I stamped her in basic brown, colored her in, then "aged" her with pink shades. I then aged her even more with the cracked glass technique!
I went overboard with the pinks, although I think that adds to the soft, aged look! On the background piece, I stamped the music, then "aged" it with speckles of pretty in pink, bashful blue, and green galore. I then daubered pretty in pink and regal rose over it all, especially in the corners. I added my rose, popped up the angel with pop dots, added ribbon and copper cording and it was done.
Thanks for looking, and have a blessed day!

Such a pretty vintage look to this card. TFS.
