This card is for today's Technique Lover's challenge to make a paper towel flower. Well, I'm not too sure I like the quilted paper towel texture for this technique, but I'm pleased with the flower otherwise. Despite the title, I actually used a Pixie Pink Ink Refill and some Perfect Pearls to spray my paper towel. But dry it was a pretty good match for the Melon Mambo in the Razzle Dazzle DSP pack. I like the more "natural" look that you can get with the torn edges and the fact that I could tear Petals as well as the layers. After I assembled the flower with the brad, (it was a white brad, but I sponged on some Stazon ink and then dried it with the heat gun. While it was still hot, I sprinkled on some Iridescent Ice EP) I spritzed the flower again with some plain water and then crunched up around the brad and held it that way while I dried it with the heat gun. It help give it a bit of dimension that I like.
I can match the brads to my paper by making faux brads with several layers of cs and a 1/4" circle punch.

I think it is interesting to see all the different textures of the paper towels being used, I like yours... goes great with the green and pink colour scheme, great panel work too
