first printed the image and sentiment on Canson 90 lb watercolor paper, and then die cut Santa using Nestabilities and Cuttlebug, and punched the sentiment with my SU punch.
I watercolored the image using dye inks and a waterbrush.
There is clear lacquer on the lantern and liquid applique on his coat fur.
I used a holly corner punch and punched out some holly leaves and glued them on in various places using mini glue dots. I used Basic grey pearls for the berries.
The photo doesnt' show the shimmer in the thread very well, but i used a metallic gold thread for sewing and it is a beautiful sparkling accent!

This is a digi stamp? Wow! Gorgeous card Laurie. I love your choice of colors and the nestie shape. I love the DP and the applique. I have to get some of that.

The stitching really makes this so great. It is such a nice touch. The whole card is fab. I commented on it on the KLM DT blog but it just really popped out at me again in the SCS gallery and I had to comment on it again.
