I stamped the navy card all over using Opalite glacier blue, although it didn't come out on the scan very well.
The white piece of card I used the crinkled chalk technique in blues and then stamped Santa's Post stamps and embossed in silver detail.
I used star brads and silver cord and used a Happy Christmas peel-off at the bottom.
Not very happy with the way this card turned out, so I'll try something else with this set.

I really like this card. Since you say you don't like it, I wonder what it would look like if you used the darkest navy from the background matte and colored the insides of the stamped images, inside the embossing? you could just put swipes of dark blue marker or watercolor or pastel and pull it around with a blender pen loosely. I think it would ground the stamps onto the background. I like it the way it is, mind you, I think it's very striking! I love blue and silver together for Christmas, it's a lovely combination! I just ordered this set and you've given me great inspiration!
