I read about this technique somewhere, and gave it a try tonight. I took three different colors by Tim Holtz = Old Paper, Antique Linen, and Vintage Photo, and wiped them across a flexible rubbery pad (came with my hot glue gun, as a "trivet"). Took my cardstock and placed it on the wet inks, then lifted off. I layered on Carte Postale fleur-de-lis, and French Script background stamp.
Used a leaf stamp from Carte Postale under the greeting in Sahara Sand, then sponged the edges with Sahara Sand, Old Paper, then Vintage Photo, leaving the middle of cardstock light. The greeting and Creamy Caramel layers are propped up on dimensionals.
This was fun, and I can't wait to try it again, with different colors!
