I like to introduce you to Bionic Burdie, cousin of Big Butt Bertie. Bionic Burdie has one screw loose (do you see it there laying at her feet?), but she is still very strong and is helping out da Muddermark and da other tea partiers, all of whom are on their way to da North Pole. Actually, don't tell them I said so, but I think there are a few of the other tea partiers who might have a screw loose, too, but they are so FUN to hang out with!
Anyway, back to the mission at hand: to help Santa with his sleigh problems this year. Word is that Santa hasnÂ’t kept up with todayÂ’s technology and his flight controls have gone bonkers.
The tea partiers even get to name the new team pulling the sleigh this year. Bionic Burdie has hired her team of bionic buddies to help pull the sleigh. Only they arenÂ’t reindeer; they are some of her most famous friends. You might recognize a few of their names:
Memphis, Norma Jean, Mumble, Gloria, Miss Viola, Lovelace, and Seymour
Mrs. Claus is servinÂ’ up frosted sugar cookies, fudge, divinity, and peanut brittle to da tea partiers. However, Bionic Burdie also asked her to include some of them delicacies called silver fishies since sheÂ’s tryinÂ’ to lose a few pounds around her waistline, and her bionic friends would much prefer the silver fishies over all the sugar. Once they have had their fill, they've been known to fling a few. Nuttin' like gittin' smacked in the head with slimy shiny silvery fishies! Woo-hoo!!!
HereÂ’s a link to da Muddermark's glob with all the details for participating in today's All Shiny, All Spiffy, We'll be There in a Jiffy tea party, as well as the inspiration teapot. Ya gotta love those shiny silver items.

I think we have a future Miss Penguin in the making. What a cutie. So what if she does have a screw loose. Looks will get you to many high places including pulling Santa's sleigh.

Me oh my Miss Burdie made me smile. I'll tuck some crawfish pie into my sleigh for her. She's a doll with all that texture - love the way you cut the swiss-dot panel or scored it. And I love her fancy little screw thingies in her hair. Hair? I don't suppose she has any, but it made me think of a hairband. Totally fun!!

somehow I knew there would be some fish slingin' in the story, Ms. Bertie.....and now with Ms. Bionic Burdie with a screw loose....who knows what is going to happen.....wonder how good her technical support will be when she can't even keep her own 'screws' tightened.......oh well, it is sure to be an interesting tea party....I will be wearing my glasses as I will partake in those delightful sugar cookies and avoid the silvery fishies that are being slung around.
Oops! Sorry I had a mouth full of flung shiny silvery slimy fishies and I can't talk and gag at the same time! What I said was:
Here you are! Can't believe you are hiding behind loose screws and that Bionic Burdie get-up! Bertie, did you know that your shiny silvery slimy fishies brought j-j-j-jo-jot's jets down???? Yep, a couple of them ended up in the jet engines! Santa is fuming, Mrs. Claus is freakin' cuz she is still trying to get the Lone Ranger thawed out and now she has to rescue downed presents!
Okay, so here is the honest to goodness truth...when I typed bionic penquins in my storyline, this is the card I imagined....and of course you are the one to make it! Snort!
Calm down....like I told jdmommy, peoples lives are at stake here! Snort! Your card rocks! So creative and fun. I don't have any loose screws but I betcha if I did, you would not be able to tell!
