This card was made for today's Technique Lover's Challenge. I have tried this technique before, but not been able to figure out the right sandwich to use. But I watched the video and tried again today and this time, by gosh, I think I got it! This is a 1998 SU set called Favorite Frame and it always makes a beautiful and elegant Christmas cad, even without the frame. (Of course the gold embossing doesn't hurt!)
I wasn't sure if coloring on this cardstock with regular markers would work. I thought I might have to use a permanent marker, but SU markers were fine and created some really nice subtle color.
