I made a card last night for a friend of mine and it worked perfectly for the challenge today. I decided to check out the Ways to Use it Challenge and we were to use any type of purple in our creations. It is very simple, but fast. My friend had ordered her Halloween costume and it never arrived from a lady on EBAY 2 weeks ago. Anyways, I helped her out by making the costume myself without a pattern in a short amount of time...however, I wanted her to help cheer her up by making a card for her. Her costume I made her was a Queen of Hearts!
I stamped the sentiment stamp from Stampabilities with black stazon onto whisper white c/s. I used the CB Swirl folder on the eggplant c/s. I also mounted the image onto red and black c/s. I colored the hat using my colored markers and attached mini rhinestones to the spots near the hat. I also used clear paper glaze for the hat. I added rhinestones for the center of the prima flowers. This was super easy to make, but fun too. TFL! Thanks for having the color purple today!
I'm sorry for the small smudge mark. I hope you can see past this. It is on my camera lens.
**when I gave her the card this morning, it lifted her spirits. I told her you can always count on me and she liked that. What are friends for if you can't help them out in any way.
