This card was made as the result of a stamping experiment I did after receiving a sheet of clear festive stamps free on the cover of one of my cardmaking mags.
I usually find the quality of mag freebies pretty rubbish but I have been very pleasantly surprised by all of the stamps on the sheet. Unusually, they are a great size too, fab for colouring in! The other designs include a funky Christmas tree, Wreath, Several sentiments and more.
The starburst red/white/green paper by DCWV is one of my all time fave contemporary designs. This is for the simple fact that it is so striking.
I used a combination of watercolour pencils and marvy le plume brush markers to colour Santa. He was then mounted onto white glitter card with sticky foam pads for a 3d effect.
Lots of matting & layering is used, including on the "Ho! Ho! Ho!" word tiles which I made from rub-ons (I think they are Making Memories?!) Two of these have also been "3deed!"
To all of you taking the time out of your busy day to stop by and glance at my card "Thank you" and have a wonderfully Happy Christmas from the UK!
