I wanted to create a Christmas card for this week's sketch challenge since I already have a lot of Fall cards. I started by coloring in my main image with embossing markers and then stamping it on cream paper and embossing it with clear embossing powder. Then I stamped the lights for my background paper. This was made with 3 separate stamps from the same set. Then I stamped my evergreen swag for the bottom panel several times with Versamark ink and went over it with Evergreen embossing powder. I cut along the edge of the stamp to create the border behind the mice. I matted everything and adhered it to the base of the card. Lastly, I added some hand quilled Christmas lights as embellishments. I adapted these to match the color of my card from the 2008 quilling project a day calendar.
