Why does purple always photograph as red. That butterfly and those flowers are a beautiful shade of purple IRL. The butterfly was stamped on Basic Grey Euphoria paper and then coloured with Iridescent Violet Luminarte..Three layers of cardstock for contrast, another try at masking (it only took 3 cards to get it right. Happy with the results. TFL

I love how you have mixed some masking and fussy cutting on your main image!!! TFS!!! (as for the photography part....I too have struggled with it....did you know there is a forum on SCS for photography? I've gotten lots of help in there!!)

Well, I don't know what it is "supposed" to look like, but I think the colors I see are very alluring. Kind of mysterious and smoky or something. Rich.

This is a very beautiful card! I too have a lot of trouble photographing purple, especially dark purple (it looks black in my pics). I love the extra layers you used also with the cut out flowers. Thanks for playing along with us! Again, great job!
