Whew! After a couple of weeks now I was able to play with SCS challenge again. This is my first SCS challenge after, what more than 2 or 3wks now. I have been very busy with Christmas orders that I couldn't join any challenge for that matter.
Anyway, the dp that I used already came in patchwork (ohh...cheating!lol!) but I hope this will qualify with the challenge. It almost took me forever to do the faux stitching & I was actually planning to do the horizontal lines as well but my hands grew tired of piercing. LOL!
The stockings were made of Spellbinders' "Wreath and Stocking" die. This die has been with me for more than a year now and this is the first time that I used it. I used chip boards then cut another 3 using the same dp in the background. I put some glue and used my MS Crystal Fine glitter for an effect. The brads were also glued and glittered on top. Sentiment is from Darkroom Door Christmas Reindeer set. The rectangular panel behind the stockings were cut using the Long Rectangle die and resized it according to my preference. As you can see there is no size such as this on the Nesties Long Rectangle dies so I improvised and found a solution!!
Thanks for looking and have a blessed Friday!
