This is my sample card for the VSOCT09D sketch challenge in the Verve October Release Week Challenges. It's also a sneak peek at a new set called Holly Jolly releasing from Verve 10/23.
Pretty clean & simple for me. I scored the Kraft card base with my Scor-Pal for a lattice look. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red on a square cut and embossed with Classic Square Nestabilties. I stamped the sprig of holly next to the sentiment and colored with Copics. The ribbon is SU! real red polka dot grosgrain and I tied with twine and reinforced my cardstock with a jumbo eyelet.

The only weeks I seem to wish away are the ones with a Verve release happening! This is yet another wonderful sneak peek - I love the colours you've used and I love the lattice scoring on the main layer. Love it all - and from what I've seen, there's going to be lots to love in this new release! TFS
