I love to put these pigs in hatsÂ…it all started way back during the early days of the IC challenge and now I even have my SIL giving me hat stickers which I used a couple weeks ago. The hats for this card are from a stamp which I found at a resale and bought just for my piggies!
-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol.
-Chalks and blender pen were used to add the blue around the pigs.
-I cut each hat out, they were reshaped to fit the head and Stickles were applied to each after coloring. I ran a black marker along the edge to cover the white and it gives some definition to the image. They are glued to the card.
-The Faux brads are circles from a tag Cuttlebug die cut that I glue to the card then applied Stickles – the perfect brad every time! I use the CB die cut because it rounds the edges like a real brad. These are very easy to pick up with a straight pin dipped in glue then touch the back of the circle and it’ll pick it up, now place it on the card by pressing down with the finger – it will allow you to move if needed before the glue dries.
-The corner features are from the Iron Eagle punch by EK Success.
-Marvy snowflakes are punched out of glitter paper and I also punched a faux brad to place in the center. I use Diamond Glaze to attach to the glitter surface.
-I added Stickles to the red on the plaid designer paper.
