 | | This card is for a friend at work who lost her cat today (passed away). When I saw her, her eyes were red and swollen and she said that her and her husband had been crying all night, knowing that there wasnt much time left for their "baby". They dont have any children, so "Josephine" was truly their baby. I hope this card brings her (and her husband) a little comfort. Death is so painful, even when your long time friend is an animal. Lots of sponging on this card - I hope that it actually looks somewhat like a sunset. Since her cat was quite a few colours, I knew that I could never replicate it, so I decided to do a "silhouette" of a cat against the sunset. |
