MMMY4 Pink Ribbons = HOPE

The teapot for this week was suggested by Flowergal36 (Dawn). She suggested that since October is breast cancer awareness month we should do a teapot to reflect that. She had this cute little teapot with a mosaic look with a pink ribbon on it. This is what I came up with. I scored my cardstock and went over the top with a brayer with grayish blue ink. I then sketched a ribbon and colored those TILES in with 4 different colors of pink. I made a wiper card, where the wiper that pops up is a little pink ribbon. I am posting early for the teaparty because I have more sick kids.

Oh, MariLynn, I sure hope your younguns get well and stay well soon. You've been a trooper through it and thx so much for keeping teapot Tues. going.

This teapot is adorable and your interpretation is amazing. I was glad to read how you did the tile look as at first look I was thinking you had cut all these little teensy squares and I was going to have to offer some counseling. LOL!!!

great card and great idea to tie in pink ribbon month. This is so dainty, I'm thinking scones and jam with tea this week. Ummy Yummy...

I had trouble with my regular tag, don't think I could get a ribbon to pop up! hehe MariLynn this is just way cool. I love the tile look with the ribbon weaving around. Dawn pick a very pretty teapot. Going to sleep on this one as it is late. Heck, probably will toss and turn all night thinking of what I am going to do. So sorry you still have sick ones at home. No fun for you. Hopefully you stay well! Love this teapot theme. It's a good one. TFS :0)

That's quite some teapot - it reminds me of our Spanish coffee mugs with all that mosaic. I'll try to get along with this later - but TBH it's one card that I couldn't imagine ever sending, so it'll stretch me. I like your message of Hope.

What a great idear that little ole Flowergal36 had! This teapot rocks and your card is awesome Marilynn...so well, Ms. McGyver! I love the way you are posting your cards with the teapot. It rocks!

Thank you so much for keeping this little challenge going. I am so sorry you have sick kids......its hard enough making cards and posting them much less doing that with kiddos that don't feel good......I hope the get better quick!
