I just love this new set and was happy to realize that this Christmas Cocoa dsp would also work great for a Valentine's Day card. (I know it's only October, but I was determined to make a card with every stamp in this set.)
I started with this old Sketch Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers and a Real Red card base and a layer of Christmas Cocoa dsp. (Prior to adhering the dsp layer, I wrapped it with a piece of Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon representing Panel 2-B in the sketch.)
Panel 2-A is the image, which I first inked up with Real Red ink and then I colored over the words (directly on the rubber) with my Basic Black marker, huffed to remoisten and then stamped on Whisper White cs. It's layered on Real Red cs. I scalloped a scrap of Basic Black cs and added it to the left of this panel and then adhered it to the card with Dimensionals.
Panel 3 is stamped with Basic Black ink onto Whisper White cs. I trimmed it to a 1" square, colored the heart with my Real Red marker, glued it to a 1 1/8" Real Red square and adhered it with a Dimensional.
