I created this card for the Saturday Spotlight Challenge which was to dress up a tree. This tree is from Stamps by Judith and is designed to be used with all sorts of unexpected stamps. So, I chose to do a Halloween theme! The background was created by using the Swiss Dots embossing folder and then hand embossing the edges. The tree panel was created by stamping the tree with its base masked off and then going over it in clear embossing powder. Then I stamped the pumpkin at the base of the tree and randomly stamped candy corn on the branches. I also stamped some extra candy corn on a scrap piece of paper and colored them in with 3 different colors of glitter. I did this by using a write n rub foil pen that stays tacky until you put something over it. I also glitterized the top of the pumpkin. I wish the picture came out better so that you could see the details. Then I cut out and attached the candy corn to the tree with pop dots. My saying panel was created by stamping the phrase in Versamark ink and then spreading three different embossing powders over it carefully and then heating them all at the same time. Then I outlined the letters with a black gel pen.
