My around the world card is an African theme.
I have always been captivated by Africa and finally got to go about four years ago to Swaziland. It was a short term mission trip helping the locals to plant and maintain nutrition packed gardens. We also were checking on and fixing water drip systems that had been placed in some of these gardens. The systems were such a huge help as the people didn't have to go so many times, the long distance to haul water in jugs. This way most of the water slowly driped into the soil instead of evaporating before it could do any good.
I highly recommend this experience through... http://www.heartforafrica.org/

Wow - what an inspiration for a card! Heart for Africa sounds like an incredible experience - thanks so much for sharing this story
And by the way, I love the card too - the cross-stitched corners are so neat!

This is a great card! The little zebra is darling, but honestly, you did such a nice job on this card (aside from the image) that you could have used so many images and it would still be nice - e.g. any animal, it could go masculine, serious, whimsical... TFS.
