One of the cards I had fun making on World Card Making Day. Joanne (my SU! demo) gives all of her Stamper's Ten group members some supplies each month to make a challenge card. This month we were given Saffron, Eggplant, Chocolate and Ballet Blue CS, a piece of Tea Party DSP, the Saffron ribbon and the stamped Thanks So Much element on the yellow square. I opted not to use the Ballet Blue or Choc Chip CS on my card.
I stamped the flowers in Saffron and Eggplant and the leaves in Artichoke. After trimming the leaves I glued the bottom of the leaves flat but popped up the leaf tips. I added bling in the form of a gem brad in the centre of my flower and gems to the Eggplant panel corners. The flower layers are all popped up.
The scalloped element was made using a Sizzix die. I added Eggplant ribbon on top of the Saffron, tied a knot and then popped up the sentiment piece over the ribbon. To finish, I added a Latte Designer Button to the sentiment piece with a thin strip of Eggplant CS threaded through.
