I was asked to donate some cards for a unit that was hit pretty hard and lost one of their men. This certainly isnt a good reason to make a card but these men need to know we care and support them. I hope this helps boost the moral of one our finest with this card!
If you would like to help out (she needs 170 cards) you can contact stampinggramof9az here at SCS and shell give you the details.
Although I didnt follow exactly to the layout it was inspired by this card from Shadows Mom and it made a classy and quick card to create.
-I stamped the image and ink distressed the edges.
-Tool distressed the green edge with a Tonic paper perforator.
-For the triangle I cut a rectangle and then cut corner to corner and was able to create two cards - both different from each other.
-The corner feature is from the EK Success Iron Eagle punch and the nail heads are attached with Diamond Glaze.
-Stampin Up oval and word window punches were used for the sentiment and it was also ink distressed.

Wow, lovely! The collage stamping is a nice vintage accent to the background and really sets the stage for the war hero image! Like the corner accent and sketch.
