The challenge is S O S and mine are and I couldnÂ’t pick just one S:
-S - Snow Scene using the Scenery and Sensational Scenery sets from SU.
-O - The O shaped moon.
-S – Sparkle for the moon, Stars, Sky, Simple layout
The brayered panel is one I did a while back and for some reason I didn’t like it and put it in that ‘to use someday box’ and I’m trying to use up some of those items. Maybe I went in a totally different direction back then because after adding the images today I really like this card.
-Tear a piece of paper in two (youÂ’ll use both) and cover the ground portion of the panel. Brayer on the three shades of blue starting with the lightest first and start rolling off the cardstock and work the brayer on as you roll back and forth. For me this is done in a rapid motion and reloaded as needed. For this lightest area I normally start from the bottom of the scene and only go as far as the dark area begins. Then the medium and darkest blues are applied from the top of the cardstock panel keeping the darkest higher than the medium blue.
-Reverse the mask and cover the sky portion and lightly sponge on gray to add a little character shadows to the snow.
-Stamp on the images.
-Die cut or punch out the moon; mine is punched from an old Christmas card using a ½” circle punch. I attached with glue.
-Add the stars with the Brilliance ink. I have a rubber image that was a period in a sentiment I would never use and it works perfectly. You can also use a gel pen.
