I wanted to make a REALLY simple card, using the sketch but only one layer.
This is for this weeks Clean and Simple challange and for last week's Way to use it challange (numbers)
I made some masks using just regular paper, masked off the top inch or so and the bottom few inches, then made a mask the size I wanted for the center section. With all those masks in place I stamped the scrapblock background stamp onto the card. Then used a ruler and a marker to draw the black lines. I then used a gray marker to make "shadow" on the drawn layers. Finally I stamped the trees and saying and colored the trees with copic markers.
I plan to give this to my son's teacher.

I really like this one layer card, and it was more difficult than it looks! Great job masking!
