Hi all! A church mate of mine asked me to make a card for her mum's birthday. Yesterday, I received some goodies that I ordered from an online shop and finally got hold of these gorgeous papers, again from K&Company!! This time it's from their Classic K Charlotte collection. Soon as I saw this dsp, I already knew that I want a "vintage" look on the birthday card.
I distressed the edges of the papers and panels that I used here and sponged it with Versafine Vintage Sepia. Romans 8:28 verse was stamped with Purely Pomegranate (loaded with Versamark ink first),heat-embossed with clear ep, cut with Labels 4 then sponged around it using Versacolor Petal Pink and Versamagic Sahara Sand. I did some stitching around the dsp and I also inked/sponged around the frame that I made using the Labels 4 (the last 2 big sizes). Finished it off with some Prima flowers which I also sponged with Vintage Sepia and a Kaiser pearl Chino at the center.
So, what do you think?
(Okay...that's faux stitching for your info, LOL!!!)
God bless everyone!
