This morning I was watching some videos of Gina K.'s I really enjoyed them. She had one on there called "stamping soot". You were supposed to used glossy paper and have a fixative. I don't believe I had either one of those products correct, but I really wanted to give it a try. You wave your paper over a burning candle and then stamp on the soot. I actually used photo paper and got a few small golden marks. I'm not sure I would advise this, it might be dangerous.
Anyway, I stamped a few fall leaves and some acorns and then used some golden paper to pick up my golden spots.
What do you think?

What an intriquing effect. Way to improvise and pick up the gold spots!! Not a recommended one for doing with the kids?!! I actually have a very sooty candle, you can see the black billowing from it when it's lit!!!
