Still finding ladybugs.....everywhere! Today for the IC I chose this Lighting Bugs Glow in the Dark outfit. All night long I tried to come up with a way to use some glow in the dark paint and then take a cool photo of it. BUT, didn't work out. So I skipped the glow in the dark paint part......details....
Enlarged a Judith jar image. Stamped hearts inside and turned them into lighting bugs, or ladybugs gone blonde. hehe I even put a ladybug on the jar because I found that I had another ladybug stamp. Added Judith dots, colored jar with w/c pencils and gamsol and sponged the crushed curry to look like light. Cut this out and set aside.
Made the blue bg panel by stamping the dots with crushed curry and clear ep them. I see a ladybug sneaked into the bg. What did I tell you, they are still everywhere....ladybugs that is. Sponged not quite navy masking the top of the jar part to look like light coming out of it, hopefully.
Next panel, I ran white cs through cb using a fiskar heart plate, sponged w/crushed curry.
Put this all on a white card sponged not quite navy. Popped up the jar added the ribbon and bug charm. See, I can do embellishments.
I am also putting this in Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge, the one about Ladybug Lou-la-Bella. Maybe she wasn't kidnapped at all. She went and got a blonde make-over and was too scared to go home. Think of that one for awhile. I'm sure we can all relate to that one. hehe
Well, hope you like this bright card.....TFL :0)
Hi Sis! What do you think of the blonde ladybugs?
Oh yeah, the charm is from my sister as she reminded me on the phone just now! lol

I got tired just reading about all you did to this card. I love it - it was all worth it definitely - you are so, so talented. I am going to have to come back and read every little step again so I can learn from you! Super job! I think that Thug can totally hang it up beyond a shadow of a doubt now!

See if you'd used that school bus and ribbon, you could have put this into the SPUT04 challenge too while you were at it. Oh my, this is so .... so celestial! Yes, it is. That blue and brilliant yellow is over the top! How sweet you took hearts and changed them into yellow bugs. Is there no end to your creativity? Plus, I see you're in Judith today? hmmmm, i dont remember any judith images in your gallery of late. Holy Moly, girl, this is really pretty darn amazing. Okay, okay okay, you get a big girl sized gold star today!

What a cute bug card. Maybe Lul-la Bella was hiding with her blonde friends instead of being bugnapped by the bug thug. Probably was only trying to be a blonde, too.

Mutnik has gone ladybuy crazy! Yikes! You goofball....ladybugs are everywhere! What a funny little card....I sorta like blonde ladybugs, they are a little more classy than your normal ladybug with red and black polka dots....The bug thug won't recognize these.....that's good, they can sneak up from behind!
