This card was made for Wish-RAK's Labor Day card Challenge - for the Troops.
The card has the traditional Kwanzaa colors of red, green and black (I have a light colored insert inside the card so the troop member can write using an ordinary pen). I also have yellow, in part because I thought the image looked better stamped on Summer Sun than on vanilla or white and because I wanted to include something received from WRAK (yep ... that is where I got the cs!).
Each ear of corn represents a child in the family. It was the only suitable image I had as a stamp so I hope some service member has 3 kids! I stamped it in Brilliance Cosmic Copper.
Another tradition is to give small gifts as rewards for personal achievements. The green rhinestones represent these gifts. Okay ... one is covering an ink smudge and the others are to make it look like I planned it this way! Good cover story though, huh?
