I created a frame using a mask and wild vines in weathered wood to frame the owl and dragonflies. I stamped directly onto dp, but now I'm not sure if I like it, as I think it might be too distracting. I do love this little owl from Inkadinkado though, isn't he cute?

Okay Deena, It has taken me an 1 1/2 just to comment on this! Turns out I had *issues* with my computer!
Anyhow - I think this is very pretty with the blue accents on the printed paper. The frame with that paper makes it look like Snow White in the woods art to me - whimsical and pretty.

The only thing distracting about this is how cute it all is!!! Terrificly done! Love the swirley border but I have to say my favorite part is the little hooter! I think you combined the perfect colors here. I have distressed wood but tend to shy away from it as it is a very difficult color for me to work into a scene. You, my dear have done it perfectly here!!! Of course, I love the Dew Drops, one of my favorite embellies!

I think the DP adds interest and another layer of color which is cool - I have been meaning to make a yellow and blue card so I really like this one. Great experiment and it came out well. TFS!

Deena, no distraction here sis, what a great idea. I love the framing and that cute lil owl. I am going to have to try this. Your sentiment is wonderful and the dew drops add so much. Love it! XO

Oooh la la, Miss Deena! Love how you worked that tlc. Cool owl, I love that you stamped him directly on the dp. Beautiful and very creative girlfriend. No coffee on the screen now, I'm not being funny! LOL
