Some of you may know that Mothermark is my sister-inlaw, and she had a graduation picture of my mother, and did a fabulous job of framing it, and putting all her personal touch on it. She has it in a gold frame with gold stamped flowers around it on the matting and lace around it.
I took a pic of that and cut it out up to the lace, and this is my card I made with the picture.
The floral background is the one I picked for this challange, and at a garage sale I got a bunch of dried flowers that this lady was selling her floral shop. So I took some pieces and put them together and tied them with yarn. Added some paper flowers and a pearl, ribbon, and a butterfly....the hardest part was getting all these dried things together... I sprayed then with hairspray and that did the trick.

I didn't know MM was your SIL either! Definitely lucky you!
This is such a beautiful inspired creation and I love that there is history behind it. Great idea with the hair spray! Next time I can't get something to behave itself, off I'll go to snag a can a hairspray!!!

Wow - how special. I am going to have to get some pictures of my Mom and make some cards with them. This is really wonderful. I didn't know you were related to Mothermark - that is wonderful too. Two very talented and creative people in one family!

Oh I FORGOT that you were MM's sister-in-law! That explains your crazy antics at her tea parties, hee! I LOVE this vintage card with the lovely dried flowers and the beautiful photo! What an awesome idea to take a picture of the picture so that you can use it again and again! FABULOUS take on ALL of the challenges!
