This card was fun to make - it is an embroidery pattern that I downloaded for free from Andrea Zuill: http://zuill.us/andreablog/2009/01/0...idery-pattern/
I printed it out on "fast print" on the back of a piece of Basic Grey Stella Ruby paper, pierced, and then sewed it all with white embroidery floss. I find it hard to get started sewing this way because my mind wants to sew the pattern where I see the pattern! But, this way, no ink shows through
I used another paper from BG Stella Ruby for the background. I rounded the corners on the panel, then edged it with a gold paint pen & mounted that on black. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado's Chelsea sentiments, embossed in gold on black paper, corners rounded, and added with gold brads. The little 'love' charm was a Michael's $ find. (score!)

Fabulous card! I've seen a much more simple but equally delightful design using different thread colors. I think this needs to be the next project Card I tackle. Thanks for the great inspiration. (and the beautiful comment you left on my fairy card was so sweet. Thank you.)
