This is a combined effort between "the card pixie" (my daughter) and myself. Our SU demonstrator's father passed away a couple of weeks ago. So we want to make some cards to give her and her family. This is our first attempt at making symphathy cards. I made part of this one and one other which I will post today. "The card pixie" did the angel and I did the cloud background and the word strip at the bottom. She colored the angel with water color pencils and water brush, then versamarked it and (she made a clear embossing powder with dazzling diamonds in it) sprinkled it on and embossed it. I used a cloud template and baby powder Kaliedacolor and sponged on the different colors to make the clouds. I can't believe the stunning way it looks. Some times I even amaze myself when something turns out so well!! I am glad because this sweet family deserve it. The word strip is velum and the word love from SU Hope is... I have used the same cloud technique for other cards in my gallery. I just love the way it looks!!

The card is strikingly beautiful. I know your friend will appreciate the work you both put into the card. The clouds are beautiful, as is the angel who seems to be floating on them.
When I saw this card, I said to myself "she couldn't have possibly used the template for this". Then after reading...you did use the template! I am quite impressed! I am quite amazed! An THAT angel...wow. Good job little woman, you are quite the artist!
