This is my first upload. I completed this card recently for my brother's birthday. It's bit of a family joke how he likes to "Relax" sitting on benches. The idea grew when I was colouring the Magnolia stamp and thought it looked like my brother. As I didn't have a bench to sit him on I designed one and printed it directly onto watercolour paper as a digi-stamp. Then masked it to do the rest of the card using real stamps of grass and cloud. Then coloured the whole thing with Distress inks, including the rainbow I painted to go with the theme of the backing paper. I also used little gems to echo the rainbow too
Although the circle embellishment in top r/h corner looks like a badge it isn't. It's just one of the images punched from the backing paper then given shape with ball tool and glossy accented. I wanted to emphasise the messages on the paper "Hope in the Lord" as I knew my brother would appreciate that.
Anyway that's my first upload done... I hope people like it.

Congratulations on opening your SCS gallery with this precious card!! I love your beautifully colored images and your fabulous designer paper which so perfectly mirrors the rainbow in your design!! I share your brother's philosophy!
Thank you for all your lovely encouraging comments guys. They are much appreciated.
The bench I drew in Illustrator and printed direct onto watercolour paper.
The tool I used was simply a paint brush with distress Ink pads as the "paints". I pat them onto non porous surface (tile, heat sheet, old plate etc.) then use as a palette picking up colours with brush.
