Remember that Doris Day movie a looooong time ago called Pillow Talk? Me neither, but I thought of it as I was making this card! LOL ....Today we were to use something warm and fuzzy. So I chose to use Fun Flock. I'm not quite sure if fun flock is really all that fun...but I tried it anyway......details....
I decided to also go with the CAS challenge this week and make this a masculine card. I know, it really isn't all that manly, but a young girl could give it to a boy and maybe he'd Call Her! Thus a man card.
I stamped my new this month, Clear Dollar Stamp using Charlie Tweens. I clear ep her, then put fun flock in her hair, on her hoofs and shirt. Her pants were paper pieced from a magazine. I colored the other parts with copic markers.
I drew my Doris Day pillows, gave them a toss, and colored with copics. Then it just came to me, put fun flock for the carpet. Bad idea. It almost covered up my pillows!!!
Well, since the sentiment was asking "Call Me" I thought I'd better add a phone. Since girls tend to talk a long time, I thought she better be plugged in. So I plugged in her phone.
Well, that is it. Hope you like my take on the warm and fuzzy challenge......TFL :0)
Oh yeah, did I tell you I got stung by one of Mothermark's wayward Teapot Tuesdays bees? Yikes, that hurt.

Obviously you are much MUCH older than me if you have heard of Doris Day and a movie called Pillow Talk. As soon as I saw the title her in the gallery - I thought - too much infomation, Mutnik - but then to my surprise, you are referring to some movie from eons ago......
I love your idea of a man card!! Perfect!! What groovy pants she has!! So - the idea is a girl gives a guy card called Pillow Talk and he's supposed to call her??????????????? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm so that's a call girl, is it Mutnik? I am shocked! ;)

I remember pillow talk....yikes. But, to my defense it comes on AMC or TCM a lot. Doris Day has the most awesome clothes and jewelry in that movie....that is the only reason I watch it cause it is kinda cheesy. Your card is so fun and unique. What a hoot!

Too bad...I remember it too, but I must have been a mere child at the time. She wants to invite him over to see her pillows....that's all, cause they're so cute.

Oh no, I do remember Doris Day and I recall the movie name but can't say that I know the story line. The cow is cute even though she is not a Doris look alike! I like your flocking too and it appears that your attempt was better than my first attempt...I didn't think it was much fun and never used it again.

Okay...I KNOW that movie, and it's a FAVORITE! She was NOT a Call Girl! It was a Party Line! LOL..Wait...that makes it sound like a 900 number! YIKES...
In case anyone didn't know... back in the olden days, people had to share phone lines. The phones in homes would have different rings, so you knew if the phone was ringing for you. It was very strange, and if you were a voyeur, you could listen in on other people talking. Another down point was that there were no time limits on how long you could stay on your phone and it could tie up the line for others on your party line. Doris Day's character was VERY angry with Rock Hudson's character because he was CONSTANTLY on the phone with WOMEN! And, he was a song writer, so he would play the piano and SING to the women. I LOVED this movie...can you tell???? Oh, and yes, I lived in two different cities that still used party lines when I was in Junior High...
LOVE your card, especially the fun flock comforter! GREAT CARD! GREAT STORY!
