My card for today's SC. A chance to use a new stamp that came yesterday (nearly inked up the wood-mounted one I got for a friend instead of my unmounted one) and another one in the basket for the CCC09 challenge. Highly unseasonal as it's one of the hottest days of the year in parts of the UK, and pretty hot here - and humid too, yuck.
A2 base, cream glitter paper layered on shiny silver card.
The next layer is aqua glitter paper layered on silver. The image was stamped with Versafine Black on watercolour paper, embossed with clear EP adn coloued with H2Os, then layered on silver.
For the two long strips, I thought I had some suitable snowflake ribbon, but it wasn't wide enough. Then I found some Basic Grey ribbon which was a good width and matched my colours. I added a glitter snowflake brad layered up on a punched silver snowflake at the corner of the two ribbons. The sentiment is from See-D's, stamped and edged with colours from the Brilliance Peacock pad. I added little bling to the sentiment and to the snowflake. Yikes, I see two fell off the sentiment when it fell down in the wind - better fix that.
Both smaller panels and sentiment are up on foam tape.
Thanks for the sketch, Roxie, perfect for what I needed today.
