This week I was the Guest Designer for Cora at Digital Two for Tuesdays. Each week she provides two vintage digital images for you to play with for free. Please join us at http://digitaltuesday.blogspot.com/. There is a wonderful boy and girl image this week.
I did various sizes of the image and colored them with pencils and blended. Then I sponged Rangers Distress Tea Dye ink all over the image, spritzed with lots of water. Let dry overnight and ironed flat on the back side. I wanted these to look liike they were from an old book. The left item is a box I got at the dollar store a while back that I altered. The middle, of course, is a gift bag with tag, and the right is a 3 x 3 note card box holder. On that box image I covered it with liquid embossing in antique glass finish. These projects are amazing! And thanks for the link to the digital site. I can't wait to make something with this stuff! Of course, nothing will compare with what you have here. Your stuff looks fantastic. And did I say it's amazing? Oh, I did. Really, very beautiful. I think I'll add your blog to my Google Reader so I can follow you! =)
