My hostess wanted idea for using the Slit Punch, so I did this card. I used the slit to make the closure, then covered with a button that I distressed first by sanding and attacahed with linen thread. I showed the Watercolor Crayons to color the image, and also showed them how to splatter the background by picking up color from the crayon with the aqua painter, then squeezing until the water just ran into the tip and hitting the brush over the bone folder to splatter color onto the cardstock. I also love the look of the gingham layed over the twill and "buckled." I've used this on tons of cards already and I think it really punches it up a notch!
