I just didn't think I felt like stamping today, and I should have listened to my instincts.... but I just hate missing out on Cindy's teaparty!! http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
So I thought I could at least do a CAS card... easy, right?? And I used the CC for today: Taken with Teal, Close To Cocoa, and Vanilla.
I stamped the lighthouse and embossed it in clear. I think that is where this whole card went wrong. I wanted to emboss it, because I was misting the cardstock with water and then scrunching it up. I watercolored with the teal and cocoa using an aquapainter. Added a touch of thyme to the water because it didn't look right. The cocoa cs was made by inking up a piece of screen.
Let's just call it done and hope for something better next time!

The colour challenge certainly tied in well with the lighthouse. I think you're being a bit hard on yourself, and I also think you should add maculine into the keywords - this is a great masculine card. Love your ziz-zaggy blue paper, and the meshed strip. We don't use mesh on windows here.
I always check the tpt gallery for several days, so another time, if you don't feel inspired on the day I'll still be along looking for you later on in the week. But I'm glad you brought this card along, I like it.

Three challenges in one? I love it. Perfect CAS. I love the embossing. Great image and I love the torn look and the anchors and the diagonal. Wow Kris. I think you did great!!!! Hi!

I love your card - I like the crinkled look and the little touch of shine just makes it special. I am impressed you got several challenges in - I have got to try that sometime.

Well, you might not like this, but I do and it sounds like others do also. When I first saw the picture I thought she did the color combo and the Clean & Simple challenge. It's a wonderful masculine card. I like the crinkled up, worn look for this. I may just case it for my lighthouse stamp. Like the clips. Nicely done. TFS
