Our stamping group has a monthly challenge. This month we were to use some type of textile to inspire us- a shirt, a pillow, a quilt, etc. I came in second this month with this card inspired by my DD's new bedding. It's a sea of stripes in shades of turquoise with celery and chocolate- gorgeous. I will try to post a photo here:
I used an old sketch (thanks, Roxie) to create this card. The bottom light turquoise panel is cuttlebugged in the leafy pattern. For the image panel, I stamped the bench first, masked it off and stamped the tree. The tree was inked in celery and then colored the branches in chocolate chip marker. A celery ribbon and a row of brown gems completes this.
