-Once I did the technique and let it dry, I stamped the images and ink distressed the edges of all the panels except the black. On the brown layer I tore some small pieces off the cardstock to distress itÂ…I did this because this card was made from scraps and it had a tear already on it and I just made it look like I meant to do thatÂ…which for all but oneÂ…I did!
-I also did the finger walking technique on the image panel using the Stampin Up Linen image. Finger walking is done by inking up the background stamp while its image side up on the work surface, lie the image panel on the rubber and walk across the image with your fingers. This gives a partial coverage.
-The half circles are a circle punch cut in half after dry embossing with the Cuttlebug.
-The corner features are from the Iron Eagle punch by EK Success.
-To tone down the orange on the brads I dot it with Sharpie permanent marker and quickly rub with the finger. Just enough smears to change the color a shade but you must work quickly.
