I wanted to make a card using the Best Blossoms set I got at a stamping garage sale for $2, browsing through the gallery, I fell in love with farmerswifejj card so I cased it and changed a few things. Here's her wonderful card:http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...8622?&cat=5563
I started with GP white cs as the base. The second layer is bliss blue cs, I ran it through the CB Stylized Flower folder and used the sewing machine to do the zig zag stitching around the card. I brushed over the blue with white pigment ink. I stamped the big flowers with versa mark ink, use white ep and then heat gun to set onto bliss blue cs, then cut out with scissors. I stamped the smaller flowers with brilliant blue on bliss blue cs, cut out too. I used a mini flower punch on GP white cs for the centers of the flowers and added mini silver brads. I used the MS branch punch on olive dp and added mini orange prismaflowers, marked with the white opaque gel pen five dots for the flowers and the centers. All the flowers are raised with 3D squares. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon onto a large scallop oval circle and stitched around it. I thought it needed something else so I used the MS butterfly punch on orange adhesive dp, then added 2 mini silver adhesive beads.
Thanks so much for the inspiration. This is for a dear friend who will be 84yrs old and she always loves to show off my cards to her elderly friends at the rest home.
