For this VSN challenge we were given 4 different martini 'recipes' from which to design a card according to, I chose the Balsamic Vinegar Martini recipe: red, orange, black & white cardstock, with texture of some kind. I decided a Halloween card with color blocking was the way to go.
The orange sections were embossed with CB's Spiderweb folder and the red sections were CB embossed with the Mesh folder. The little spider image #isn't this little guy the cutest?# is from Stampin' Up!'s retired Web Wishes set. I added some Orange Peel and Candy cane stickles to the little guy's hat and bag and black diamond stickles to his eyes to make them even more winsome #if that were possible#. I added some candy cane stickles to the orange Making Memories brads as well for a little bling and popped up the sentiment and the spinder with Pop-Its. I added a strand of black embroidery floss as Spidey's 'web' to dangle from.
What do you think? Thank you for taking the time to look at my card.

OMG, this card is so great! I love the bold look of the red & orange, especially with that gorgeous embossing. And that spider! Yes, with the stickles he is completely winsome. And the glittery brads? Perfect touch!!

Love this! Thanks so much for posting it! I never would have thought reptile skin when looking at the mesh CB folder until I saw it cut into a smaller piece like you have on here. The colors are amazing - it really pops off the screen! Great job. TFS!
