I have been busy today and this challenge has inspired me to create something for summer. Since gardening is my favourite summer activity I decided to make a Garden Journal using the newly released set from Innovative Stamp Creations called Make a Note. As a gardener I am often thinking about where to move plants or see flowers that I want to add to my garden so this notebook is just perfect for that. I made a template to cover the 3x5 notepad and glued it together adding a slit on the top to hold the pen. I stamped and embossed on the Making Memories Ledger paper, cut out the initial and the butterfly and popped them up. The chipboard crown is by Heidi Swapp. I distressed the edges and added some piercing. The crown is a joke as my neighbours come to me for gardening advise and say I am the 'Queen' of the garden.
