Today's limited supply challenge was to make a card with a summer activity theme. Bonus if a tag is used on the card! Got it!! Good thing there were no limits on embellishments, because as soon as I got in my room, I completely forgot that this was a limited supplies challenge! The layout was inspired by sc241.
As a teacher, I do most of my stamping in the summer months, which are sadly over after today for me! Sure won't be very many challenges completed until Christmas break!! In honor of my favorite summer activity, I broke out Stella Stamper for my card. Can you see the bits of glitter in her hair...that's me!!!
The inside has the sentiment about how this habit started with one little stamp and I don't want recovery! Very appropriate for me because the other day my son called and asked what I was doing. Told him I was at the LSS playing for the day. He proceded to tell me how I have a serious problem and I am completely addicted and needed help. I told him that it was true that I have an addiction, but they don't have a 12 step program for it because NO ONE wants recovery from it!! My friend next to me said that the 12 step program for stamping was to get 12 sheets of cs and stamp something!! I will be giving this to my son as a just because card! He will love it! Deep down, he is my biggest fan!
Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble! It's been a great summer of SCS challenges!! Thaniks for taking a closer look!!

Love it!
Your son & my hubby are of the same mind...and I don't want recovery either. I think he'd settle for spending less $, but, well, what fun would that be??? lol
Happy back to school

*grin* Heh heh heh. This is what I do in the summer too. Stamp. Too dang hot to go outside! Besides, all the stamps are INSIDE. I love those polka dots and the bows and the tag!

Lynnor, what a wonderful story. I love your card. I don't want to recover either! I think we should tell our families we're going for help somewhere but really go to a LSS or a friend's house! LOL
I too am a teacher and do most of my stamping in the summer, especially the challenges. Good luck going back to your classroom. I'll have a few more weeks to recover from my hip surgery. It's NOT been a fun summer here in OH, but we're moving forward.
