This was inspired by a card by Princessink--but since I don't have her skill or talent, I settled for using her basic color scheme.
This was a first for me in a couple of ways: using a dryer sheet to cover the DTP background to soften it, using glass tiles, using colored pencils on vellum.
The thickness of the glass tiles casts strange shadows in the scan. I think it looks a little better and softer IRL. Didn't turn out like I envisioned (do they ever?), but I guess we all have to start somewhere.
