This is another of those crazy bee cards that have been all over the gallery - if you want to know more about this really fun weekly challenge or if you want to participate, you can find the details at:
This week, the tea party is in Booneville, Mississippi. Evidently, Mothermark's very good friend, Uncle Beeford Bumble, is a beekeeper who has lost most of his bees. He is trying to re-establish his hive, and we were all asked to bring some bees to help in this endeavor. We get free tea and honey and, apparently, we get to learn a lot about bees. For instance, did you know that a honey bee will visit 75 flowers on one trip? That sounds like a lot of work to me.
At my house, we have a lot of bees. I am bringing two of my favorites with me on the trip. Sorry, I am arriving later than most, but I stayed late today to make sure my DD was adjusting well at her new school (BTW, her school is in a farm town and they actually have classes on farming and making sure bees are doing their good work). These two bees are madly in love as you can tell. I plan to mail this card to my DH (he isn't away or anything, but he always picks up the mail so he will be surprised).
All my bee stamps were kind of boring so I drew my bees (lisa lara and PSmethers have inspired me lately to draw instead of buying when I need something). Actually, I still buy but not as much!
Hope you enjoy this card and be sure to visit Mothermark's blog so you can "bee" inspired too.

OMG! You are one of those??? One of those people who can draw? I so am jealous!!! Your card is just precious! Your bees rock..if I could do what you could do....who needs stamps???
Me thinks the bee in front is puckered up ready to plant a wet one on her partner but her partner sidetracked and amazed at the gathering of rather odd looking worker bees that showed up at Uncle Beeford Bumble's Booneville, Mississippi Beehive! Thatsa lotta bees!!
So happy you are here this week! Whisper....don't eat the Uncle's treats, he cannot cook!

Now that is one charmer of a lady bee. How could the male of the species not fall head over heels or maybe it is head over wings in this case. What a great surprise for you dh and what a nice card for the challenge.

What cute bees. I like your blue flowers that you brought along too, and the way the sentiment panel almost looks like a fancy blossom too. And look at those blinged eyelashes. At first I wondered was it some pollen from those 75 flowers, but who ever heard of silver pollen.
