No computer was used in the making of this card.
Not much stamping, either, mind you.
I really wasn't going to make a second card this week, but my mind went into overdrive when I realised that Great Uncle Bartholemew must have been a Spelling Bee because he spelled *Be* right. So what about a quilting bee??
Here's my quilting bee, and while I had to laugh at Cindy's disclaimer in the SCS challenge thread about goofy cards being made in this challenge, I know exactly who this is going to.
The base is black A2 with a bit trimmed off the top to fit my quilt. I cut loads of little hexagons, sponged the edges with blue and stamped green and yellow flowers on them. I pieced the quilt, stitched it with a pen and quilted it with D'vine Swirl, then layered it onto some nice honey-coloured Clairefontaine paper. I added a birthday sentiment popped up on another hexagon, and a little beaded bee.
TFL.

What a cute idea! I like all the flowers you have for the bees - but I am not sure you will need a quilt at the tea party, as I suspect it will be HOT there.

Sabrina, you have the most creative mind. I love your quilt. Your little quilting bee has been busy. I bet you could make some really good money having him make these quilts. I love the little flowers on the blocks. How awesome to have the hexagon shapes for the blocks of this quilt!!!!!!! This teaparty already has me thinking of card #2!!!

What a sweet BEEd! Love it-- and I think the quilt will come in handy at the tea party. The bees that got into the moonshine are probably going to need a spot to lay down and rest...

I agree with Joan: love that "busy little beaded bee"-say that 3x fast! Great quilt and I would love to have that to sit on at the tea party!
